Here’s how to begin your journey in the gym while staying injury-free.
- Stretch.. Always begin and finish a workout with full body stretch. This will warm up your muscles and help prevent any injuries.
- Drink a lot of water.. It is VERY important to stay hydrated. The body loses water while exercising and it becomes easy to get dehydrated. So, drink water before, during, and after your workout.
- Take breaks.. It is crucial to know when your body needs a break. Take quick breaks in between each exercise.
- Start slow.. Never over work yourself, especially when just beginning. It is easy to strain a muscle, so always pace yourself.
- Don’t give up.. Results do not happen overnight. Muscle gain or weight lose takes time. It’s all about being consistent!
